Associations bring together students seeking housing and seniors offering a room in their home or apartment. For seniors, the goal is to continue living at home in a less isolated way. For students, the objective is to find accommodations at a lower cost but also to be helpful and supportive.
There are several possibilities available :
- free room with commitment to be present during the evening,
- room with contribution to expenses with the provision of certain services,
- room with an occupancy allowance with no commitment to the senior.

Family accommodation
This method is a little more expensive than a simple rental, but you can choose from several options (half-board, dinners, single room). It allows you to interact and speak French with families who have experience in welcoming students.
